Pinning apps, websites, folders
How the pin menu works, native icon extraction, drag-to-reorder.
The Pin menu lives at the top of the greeting tile. Click it to drop new tiles on the dashboard.
What you can pin
| Type | How it works |

| Pin app | Pick any .exe, .app, or .lnk file. Marje extracts the native icon automatically. |
| From installed apps | Searches the Windows Start Menu for installed programs. Faster than browsing the file system. |
| Pin website | Paste a URL with an optional label. Opens in your default browser. |
| Pin folder | Pick any folder. Opens in Explorer / Finder. |
| Pin Gmail inbox | Drops a 2x2 tile showing unread count and recent messages. |
Managing tiles
- Drag any tile to reorder.
- Edit mode (gear icon) → marquee-select to move groups.
- Right-click a tile for settings or to remove it.
- Icons re-extract silently if the source binary updates.
