How it works

From install to AI-aware vault in eight steps.

Marje is a desktop app for Windows. The first launch walks you through a wizard that sets up your vault, your starter pack, and (optionally) your AI provider. After that, you're on the dashboard.

  1. 01

    Welcome

    Run the installer (it's signed by Hibb Co. LLC, so Windows will say “Verified publisher”). Marje opens to a splash screen, then the welcome wizard.

  2. 02

    Register

    Create an account with your email, a display name (the name Marje will greet you by — “Good morning, Kevin”), and a password. Already have an account? Sign in instead.

  3. 03

    Verify your email

    We send you a 6-digit code. Paste it into the wizard. Done.

  4. 04

    Pick where your vault lives

    Default is C:\Users\[you]\Documents\Marje-Vault\. Change it to any folder you want — including a folder already synced to Google Drive or OneDrive. The vault is just a folder of real files.

  5. 05

    Choose a starter pack

    Personal, Freelancer, Small Business, or Developer. Each starter pack scaffolds a set of folders pre-configured with the right modules and rules for that use case. You can change later or install more from the Store.

    Checkout (or use the trial)

    $49 lifetime license. One payment, every future update free. 7-day money-back, no questions. Pay now or skip and try the vault first — the unlock is per account, not per install.

  7. 07

    Connect your AI (optional)

    Pick a provider: Claude, OpenAI, or Ollama (local). Paste an API key (or for Ollama, point at your local URL). Optional: enable the bundled MCP server so Claude Cowork or Claude Code can read your vault.

    You can also connect Gmail here so a 2×2 inbox tile appears on your dashboard.

    You're in

    The dashboard loads. Your starter pack folders are in the side rail. Pin apps, websites, folders, or your Gmail inbox. Right-click any folder to set rules. Open Cowork or Code with the MCP connected and ask Claude to do anything — it already knows the structure.
