The deal

You buy a Marje license. We give you a desktop app that does the things described on this website. You own your data. We own the app.

License grant

The lifetime license grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Marje on personal devices you own or control. Enterprise licenses are sold per-seat and may be reassigned within an organization.

What you cannot do

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app to extract the factory configuration layer.
• Resell or redistribute the app installer.
• Build a competing product that uses extracted Marje system prompts, factory rules, or proprietary architecture (see the patent notice).
• Use the marketplace to distribute malware, infringing content, or modules that exfiltrate user data.

Marketplace

Modules in the marketplace are sold by their developers under their own terms. Hibb Co. LLC acts as the storefront and payment processor. We take a 20% revenue share. Refunds within 14 days are honored, no questions asked.

Updates and discontinuation

Free updates are included with the lifetime license for as long as we are actively developing the product. If we ever discontinue Marje, the last released version will continue to work and we will publish migration documentation.

Liability

Marje is provided as-is. We test thoroughly and we soft-delete by default. But if you delete the wrong folder past the 30-day trash retention, we cannot recover it. Use cloud sync. Make backups. The app cannot help you if you do not give it a chance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Shiawassee County, Michigan.
